About the Event
This event is a team Crawfish Boil competition where 45 teams will compete for the title of Crawfish King held at the Riverfront Plaza in downtown Baton Rouge on Friday, May 4, 2018.
It’s open to the public so come on out & help decide the 2018 Crawfish King.
What time do gates open?
Gates will open at 4pm. Its $20 All-You-Can-Eat admission & tickets are available online through EVENTBRITE or $25 at the gate event day. Kids tickets also available.
Tickets will be onsale March 10th via Eventbrite.

The Crawfish King Cook-Off is a fundraising partnership between the Big Buddy Program and Junior Achievement of Greater Baton Rouge.
The Big Buddy Program is a local non-profit (501(c)(3))youth services agency that provides positive role models and quality learning experiences to over 1,000 disadvantaged youth weekly. For over 30 years the Big Buddy Program has provided children and youth with positive adult role models through the Big Buddy/Little Buddy mentoring programs; character education and leadership sessions; after school programs, holiday camps and summer enrichment programs; teen workforce development programs, and literacy skills.
Junior Achievement is the largest and fastest growing non-profit education organization in the world! Our mission is to educate and inspire young people to value free enterprise, business and economics to improve the quality of their lives. The growth and changes that are currently taking place in the Baton Rouge area provide the opportunity for JA to expand its impact. By partnering business with education, JA recruits volunteers to teach business and economic-oriented programs for students K-12.
